Sneak peek at the BID system
We have stated before. We expect that there will be those who don’t agree with new ideas. LOL! We are use to ridicule, and derogatory comments from those who just don’t understand.
A few years ago, TAG implemented the ‘must have a cell phone’ protocol. There were those on terb.ca who saw this as a weakness on our part. Yet here we are, still in business and you as a customer far safer. The simple truth about the cell phone rule is this. The call-taker will never double book. The girl is safer because of accountability. You the customer is better off, because the call taker is able to contact you if there is a problem with your booking. Tell me this…. If TAG was wrong about the cell phone rule, why is it now standard for every agencies and independents?
Second, when TAG started using hotels the same review board had its members accused us of running some kind of street level crap came, dodging the cops. WTF?
Yet here we are again, years later with every reputable agency using hotels.
Text messages, msn, live assist - the list goes on and with implementations from TAG that are now standard with every agency.
Is TAG doing all this because we want to influence the industry? Hell NO! We don’t like when others do as we do. We make changes to make the every day of this business better for, the girls who work here, the customers, and TAG’s bottom line.
Sneak peek at the BID system. TAG will set up an SMS GATEWAY that will communicate directly with the TAG
Private server. TAG sms users can register a user number on our site (this number is like a user name). That registered number - you can use to send sms messages to any cell phone or other SMS GATEWAY. This will reduce communication cost (long distance), for our customers as well as giving users more privacy when sending sms messages about a booking.
When a bid for a booking is made the service provider will receive the text message. She then replies ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Her response will be sent to the bidder with the correct instructions, depending on her choice. The service provider may also type ‘never’, if it is a person she does not wish to repeat with. Each registration is linked to a cell phone. Each cell phone can only register one user number, and will not be permitted to change the original registration (but may cancel and never register again).
Customers will be able to communicate via text message, with his lady. All without giving out his number and the ladies are more likely to respond because her privacy will remain just that- private. Users of this system will be able to block text messages from those they no longer want to communicate with.
Stay tuned…….. its more than just about the BID.
